The Tren Maya (Yucatec Maya: Tsíimin K'áak, sometimes also Mayan Train or Maya Train) is a 1,554 km-long (966 mi) intercity railway in Mexico that traverses the Yucatán Peninsula. Construction began in June 2020 and the Campeche–Cancún section began operation on December 15, 2023, with the rest of the line to open later.
The Maya Train route runs through 5 states: Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo over its 1,500 kilometers. The route includes 40 municipalities and 181 towns in southeastern Mexico.
