10 Δεκ 2012 · Just found out: the control userpasswords2 practically starts the netplwiz.exe utility. So in order to start it via the GUI, just go to %windir%/system32 and there double click on netplwiz.exe. You can also add it as an option to the control panel via this script: Add User Accounts Utility (Userpasswords2) to Control Panel
8 Σεπ 2020 · To fix this issue, you’ll need to deactivate and disable passwordless sign-in feature and it’ll immediately restore or add missing “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” checkbox in “control userpasswords2” or “netplwiz” programs.
6 Ιαν 2020 · Advanced User Accounts is not in the Control Panel by default, but you can add it. This tutorial will show you how to add Advanced User Accounts ("netplwiz" or "control userpasswords2") to the Control Panel for all users to open it from in Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10.

12 Ιουν 2023 · Right-click Start, click Run. Type the command netplwiz.exe or control userpasswords2 and click OK. In the User Accounts dialog that opens, select your user account from the list. Uncheck “ Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer ”.
24 Αυγ 2022 · If netplwiz isn't working, try: Right-click the Windows key and select Run. In the Run field, type in control userpasswords2 and hit Enter. In the User Accounts dialog box, check the box for Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. Click Apply, then OK. Restart your computer and see if you're prompted with the login window.
To do this:- 1]Start>Run>type in: rundll32.exe keymgr.dll,KRShowKeyMgr >OK. One can also use Control Userpasswords2. Start>Run>type in: Control Userpasswords2>OK. Click the Advanced tab and then click Manage Passwords.
