With a decent Wi-Fi 6 router, you’re looking at 100-150 Mbps at far range with 2.4 GHz. And 150-250 Mbps at close range. I have a Wi-Fi 6 router and I typically get around 700-900 Mbps with 5 GHz on my 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021). I also get around 180-320 Mbps on my PC with the same 5 GHz network.

Wi-Fi 6E uses the same PHY standard, MIMO, and modulation rates from Wi-Fi 6. The only thing new is the 6 GHz spectrum. 6 GHz can be faster, if you’re near an AP using wide channels. 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz still have advantages, such as longer range, better wall penetration, and legacy compatibility.
2 Ιουλ 2021 · In the very best signal conditions and using the latest devices, we show that Wi-Fi 6 can significantly outperform Wi-Fi 5, with throughputs of about 920 Mbps, i.e. very close to Gigabit Ethernet (although Gigabit Ethernet still retains noticeable superiority in terms of latency).
4 Οκτ 2020 · The good news is that the effective range difference between 6 GHz and 5 GHz is not as significant as the difference between 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. On average, a 6 GHz signal attenuates about 2 dB more than a 5 GHz signal in the first meter.
1 Ιουν 2021 · Using 160 MHz channels in 5 GHz requires the use of DFS, and not all devices support DFS operation. 80 MHz channels are much more realistic option for 5 GHz, limiting maximum link rates to 1,200 Mbps. With Wi-Fi 6E, you get access to 6 or 7 more 160 MHz channels, and don’t need to use AFC or DFS if operating indoors.
