14 Ιαν 2007 · I've found that the only solution to this is to convert all of my MP3 files to AAC, or re-rip them through Itunes. However, this becomes an extreme inconvenience considering how much work and time it takes to either re-rip or convert 25 GBs worth of music.

10 Δεκ 2014 · Open iTunes and go into "Preferences" under the iTunes drop-down menu. Then hit the "Import Settings" button under the "General" tab on the far left. Make sure "AAC Encoding" is selected on the "Import Using" roll-down menu.
10 Δεκ 2018 · I have dragged 3 MP3 into my music library in iTunes, I want to convert these to use as custom ringtones. I acknowledge I am supposed to be able to select a tune, then go File > Convert > Create AAC Version, but when I try this the Create AAC version is greyed out... any ideas?
