The Texas Board of Nursing launches new online Texas Nurse Portal. The new Texas Nurse Portal is a confidential and secure system that allows applicants to apply for nurse licensure by examination, endorsement, or renewal. The new paperless system is completely online.

As of September 1, 2008, the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) no longer issues paper licenses. In accordance, the BON no longer issues duplicate licenses. Print a copy from the verification page of the BON website. See below.
