How to Renew Your Florida Cosmetology License in Two Simple Steps. Complete a 10-Hour Florida cosmetology CE course. This course package includes all the CE required to renew your Florida cosmetology license (hair, nail, facial, or full specialist). It is all online and it works on any device.
To reapply online or obtain a retake application please visit Cosmetology - Apply For A License. Applicants must complete both portions of the examination within a two-year period from the date of the first attempt of either portion of the exam.
A Florida cosmetology license is required to perform cosmetology services. If your original license has gone null and void due to non-renewal, you may qualify for licensure through this process. Application Requirements: NULL AND VOID: Allowing a license to expire because of non-renewal.
