Now I was wondering how exactly the streak works. Does it get reset if I take a task from any other slayer master? Should I push to a 50 streak before switching?
Slayer reward points can be spent to extend or block tasks, to purchase items useful for Slayer tasks, and on several unlocks such as automatic finishing blows, crafting Slayer equipment, and unlocking new tasks.
Slayer is a skill that allows players to kill monsters that may otherwise be untargetable by players (players will be prompted a message stating they do not possess the required Slayer level to attack the monster). Players must visit a Slayer Master, who will assign them a task to kill certain monsters based on the player's Combat level. Slayer experience is awarded each time the player kills ...
Follow a task list that offers the fastest Slayer experience per hour, and use Slayer reward points to skip undesirable tasks as often as possible. However, some players may find that alternative priorities suit them best, as Slayer also has the potential to be a highly profitable skill.
Here's what you could do: 9 tasks with fairy (first five of regular slayer will give you no points, just like the first 5 tasks of wildy gave you no points). I think you're getting confused because wildy and regular slayer are separate.
Slayer reward points is a reward system that awards points after every completed task, and bonus points are awarded after every 10th, 50th, 100th, 250th and 1000th completed task. The only Slayer Master that does not award points for completed tasks is Turael.
Wildy slayer is unmatched, free supplies (blighted restores/mantas/anglers), almost every task is cannon-able or barrage-able, the new wildy weapons give crazy combat exp/hr, and the ammount of points earned per task allows you to skip very frequently, you can basically pick your tasks once you have a slayer point bank built up.
