2 Απρ 2024 · Every nurse licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing must renew their license biennially to continue practicing. To complete your license renewal: Go to www.flhealthsource.gov and click the “Renew A License” button.
Most health care licensees and facilities are required to renew their license biennially in order to maintain the right to practice; however, some professions require annual renewal of the license. To learn more about the renewal process for your license, select a profession from the list. Medicine. Nursing. Dentistry. Pharmacy. Optometry.
Renewal fee: $75 if renewed on time. Late renewals will incur an additional fee of $55. RN Renewal cadence: Every 2 years, in 3 groups (April 30 of even years, July 31 of even years, and April 30 of odd years). Check your license for your exact expiration date and group. LPN Renewal cadence: Every 2 years.
If you have an active license, the RN and LPN renewal fee is $75, the APRN renewal fee is $60, and the CNA renewal fee is $55. You will receive your paper license in approximately 7 to 10 business days once this process is completed. That’s your ticket to start looking for RN jobs, LPN jobs, and CNA jobs in Florida.
