31 Αυγ 2021 · Effective January 26, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older must provide a negative Covid-19 viral test taken within three calendar days of flight departure from Costa Rica.
Visitors to Costa Rica must have a valid passport and proof that they will be leaving the country before their visa or entry stamp expires. All travelers must therefore have a ticket for return or onward travel.
Costa Rica Entry, Transit and Exit Requirements. All people above 18 years of age entering Costa Rica by air, sea or land are required to carry a valid passport along with other travel and health required documents upon arrival at a Costa Rican international airport, harbor or at a pedestrian border crossing point of entry in Nicaragua or Panama.
