Orange County’s Division of Building Safety is responsible for enforcing the Florida Building Code, National Electrical Code and Orange County Ordinances related to construction in Orange County. All permits and inspections related to vertical construction activity are managed by the Division of Building Safety.

About Property Taxes. Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property tax rolls are prepared by the Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office. The Property Appraiser maintains the ownership, mailing address, and legal description, and determines the value of property in Orange County.
