Open Yahoo page, and under Top Right-side point to You name letter next to e-mail icon and select Account - Overview. Select Security - top 3rd from the left side. In the middle on the right side select: Generate and manage app passwords. Under App name enter Outlook.
19 Απρ 2024 · Since Cox transitioned email services to Yahoo, you can still use Microsoft Outlook 365 to access your Cox email, but you'll need to update the server settings. Here's how to do it: Important Note: You won't be able to use the old Cox email server settings (pop.cox.net and smtp.cox.net) anymore.
Select the email folder for your Yahoo email address in Outlook and select the Inbox to view emails sent to this address. Set the Yahoo account as the primary account in new Outlook. Note: If the steps under this New Outlook tab don't work, you may not be using new Outlook for Windows yet.
24 Μαρ 2024 · The converted Cox email to yahoo still uses the Cox email account name, which prevents "adding new account" in Outlook. I was finally able to change the server settings to the Yahoo settings but still can't send/receive email with Outlook.

24 Απρ 2024 · You should be able to log-into Outlook with your current email address. If your suffix is now a Yahoo address then you can go to the Outlook app, go to View > View Settings > Accounts > Email Accounts then click Add accounts.
