The document provides guidance on developing a rigging plan that includes calculating the weight of the load, finding the center of gravity, selecting accessories, and developing a sequence of operations.
Obtain rigging hardware from tool issue. Ensure that a copy of the Riggers Handbook is available and, as necessary, that the Crane Operators IPT Handbook is also available for reference. Perform frequent inspection of all rigging hardware in accordance with the licensees inspection requirements.
