Kienzle Family Maternity Center. Provides birthing and in-hospital midwifery services as well as other perinatal services including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to treat critically ill or premature infants. Eligibility: Pregnant and postpartum women and their infants.
7 Οκτ 2022 · Much has changed in medicine and maternity care over the past 133 years at Crouse, but the commitment to putting mothers first is still the number one priority. The physicians, nurses and midwives at the Kienzle Family Maternity Center deliver close to 4,000 babies each year — more than any other hospital in upstate New York.
We are the largest community hospital-based obstetrical program in Waterloo Region and deliver approximately 4,200 babies each year - about 80 babies a week - through the support of skilled and dedicated staff including obstetricians, nurses, midwives, anesthetists, lactation consultants, social workers and many others.
