9 Ιαν 2011 · Upgrading from 2.0.x or 1.9.x should be very straightforward. Full details about the releases can be found in the Moodle 2.0.2 release notes and the Moodle 1.9.11 release notes. The releases themselves are available from the Moodle download page or CVS/Git.
These packages contain Moodle plus all the other software needed to make it run on Windows: Apache, MySQL and PHP. They are built using XAMPP. See the documentation Complete install packages for Windows for details. Note: The installer program in these packages has been known to trigger false alerts from some anti-virus programs.

9 Οκτ 2023 · This page lists all official releases of Moodle, grouped by branch in reverse chronological order. The most recent long-term support release (LTS) version is Moodle 4.5. The next LTS version will be Moodle 5.3. Currently supported stable releases. Current release of versions still receiving security-only updates.
In general, it is recommended to upgrade via each version of Moodle, for example 1.7 -> 1.8 -> 1.9. An exception to this is when upgrading from 1.5 or 1.6, when it is recommended that 1.7 be skipped, in other words upgrade 1.5 -> 1.6 -> 1.8 -> 1.9.
