Downloading. In case you don't already have Csound (or have an older version) download the appropriate Csound version for your platform from the Github Csound Download Page. Installers for Windows have '.exe' extension and for Mac '.dmg'.

Windows. If you don't have Csound installed, download the one including Csound (6): CsoundQt-1.1.3+Csound-6.18.1-Wind64.zip. If you do, it is better to use the one without Csound, otherwise the libraries may conflict and crash: CsoundQt-1.1.3-Win64.zip. Just unzip the folder and run CsoundQt-d-html.exe from there.
Get started. Try Csound Online! Csound code can run in any browser without installing Csound. The main site for it is: Csound Web IDE. To try it out, you can open any project, for instance Getting Started 1. Push the Play button, and you should hear a tone.
