11 Φεβ 2023 · This is a review and detailed measurements of the CSS Criton 1TD-X Kit speaker. I requested a sample from the company and shipped a pair to me already built in nice veneer: I believe the kit costs US $770 including an MDF flatpack.
This is my review of the Criton 1TD-X speaker kit from Creative Sound Solutions, including in-room measurements and comparisons with Bowers & Wilkins 705S2 and the Klipsch Heresy IV. Please don’t hesitate to send me an email if you have questions that are not answered in my review.
The 1TD-X might be a relatively small size but backs larger than life bass output, depth and presence thanks to our world-class LDW7 woofer with high excursion and low distortion. Bass is the foundation for music and you can build a house with this speaker. Subwoofers are definitely optional.
The Criton 1TD-X is gets rave reviews from critics and customers alike, thanks to its detailed yet non-fatiguing sound, deep and impactful bass, and amazing imaging. The 1TD-X kit has received 5 stars from hundreds of customers as well showing up on numerous "best of" lists for reviewers.
13 Δεκ 2023 · CSS Criton 1TD-X is a beginner-level build with advanced-level sound fidelity. If you’re willing to put some time and effort into it, you’ll be treated with a dynamic, clean, and full-bodied sound that easily surpasses traditional brand offerings at the same price.

26 Δεκ 2018 · The bass is authoritative and deep from a bookshelf speaker and the tweeter has a lot of detail without sounding bright. I have a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 1 and I already like the Criton better. It seems the Criton is able to retrieve more low level detail and has an overall more neutral sound. Color me impressed.
