  2. For admission to the CSU, graduation from high school and receipt of a high school diploma are admission requirements. For most CSU freshman applicants, the other basic admission requirements — high school coursework and grades— should be the focus of your attention.

To meet minimum eligibility requirements, students must pass 15 one-year high school college-prep courses with at least a C grade: a) two years of history/social science; b) four years of English; . c) three years of math through at least Algebra II or Integrated Math III;

  5. The ACT Plus Writing or the SAT is required for all UC applicants. UC uses the highest composite score from the ACT Plus Writing or highest total score from the SAT from the same test date.
