29 Μαρ 2011 · This patch updates an installed Cubase 5 installation (5.1.1 and older) to the version Cubase 5.5.0! Afterwards the current Cubase 5.5.3 update can be installed. Please note that you might need to insert the original Cubase 5 installation DVD during the update process!
23 Μαρ 2018 · Is it possible to download the full installer of cubase 5 ? I’m a registered user of a legit cubase v9.5 , but i would need of this old version for a full backwards compatibility , i wrote to Stein in mysupport , but no answer till now.

26 Ιαν 2012 · The answer is Wine (a layer to run Windows applications on Linux). The LE version of Cubase doesn’t need a dongle so there is a good chance that the software might work well with Wine. REAPER, Studio One 2 and several other DAWs just run fine in that environment.
