Head out on this 0.1-mile out-and-back trail near Highlands, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a popular trail for hiking and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Cullasaja Falls is a beautiful falls located along a very dangerous stretch of Hwy 64. The 250' falls and cascades is viewable from the road, but there's only a small pull off area suitable for 2-3 vehicles. The safest way to approach is from the Franklin side, west of the falls.
