Fishing on Lake Fork has been slow due to lake turnover in the mid lake area. Bass are good on topwaters early around grass, and lipless crankbaits in front of the grass and in the flats 3-6 feet. Carolina rigs are fair on points in 7-12 feet.

Around grass and smaller points in 2-4 ft . Some top waters and flukes are good . Shaky heads and minus 1 type crank baits working .
Lake Fork Fishing Report October 2024. Fall fishing is in full swing on Lake Fork! With the weather cooling off, it’s a great time to be fishing. You can catch a lot of quality fish this month and often have a limited amount of boat traffic to compete with.
Lake Fork Reservoir contains an excellent “bream” fishery-with bluegill and red ear sunfish the dominant species harvested. Most harvest occurs during the spawning season in the early summer when they are on beds in shallow water near the shoreline.
Fork has come up close to a foot with recent front and rains. The Texas rig bite is working good in 2-5 feet in front of weeds or grass with crawfish type baits. Square bills are fair in 2-5 feet of water in bream or crawfish patterns.
