  2. 30 Μαρ 2018 · The only thing I can think of is that the guiderod/spring have dislodged. Try holding it slide side down and tap the slide with a rubber mallet to see if it will seat against the barrel. Try removing the slide while still upside down.

I’ve never seen that issue before. I have put my slide back on accidentally before putting the recoil spring and barrel in.

  4. First, with the slide upside down make sure the RSA (recoil spring assy) is seated in the assembly notch. That is the lower semicircular notch on the barrel lugs. If that is correct, when the slide gets stuck, pull forward on the trigger a little bit and the slide will usually seat with ease.
