Install Custom Maps by dragging the .dll into your BONEWORKS/Mods folder. Launch BONEWORKS once, let it run to the Main Menu and then exit the game right after. Download any maps you want on Bonetome, at the Custom Maps page: https://bonetome.com/boneworks/map/.

If melon loader is installed, go to thunderstore, select Boneworks in the community tab, and search for "Custom Map Loader". (Just typing custom should work.) Put the mod in the mods folder, launch the game once (si the mod creates the customaps folder), and leave the game.
