  1. 10 Μαρ 2019 · If you get a Ruger factory plastic stock, consider getting a pillar kit from Midway or Brownell's for it. To answer the second question, EVERY stock needs to be bedded, IMHO. But you can do it yourself if you are careful.

  2. 7 Δεκ 2010 · However this M77 series is not manufactured anymore. I was wondering the stocks for the newer M77s would fit my rifle, and other after market parts. For example, I was thinking of putting on a Hogue overmolded stock, changing the bolt handle, a new floor plate and maybe a few other things.

  3. 27 Φεβ 2022 · I recently put a Bell and Carlson stock on my Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 300win mag and I’m happy with how the project turned out. The B&C stock fits me much better on the grip and cheek area which was needed for being more comfortable behind the gun on longer shots.

  4. 21 Νοε 2016 · I have an old M77 tang safety sitting around in .338 WM and I have thought about taking it to my gunsmith to put a new hart barrel on it, truing the action, lightening the trigger, and putting a McMillan stock on it.

  5. Well, in a matter of weeks i had my custom, fully adjustable and painted to order mark II tactical stock in the mail. Brian was excellent to deal with and has been readily available if ever i need him.

  6. 29 Αυγ 2013 · Bell and carlson has M77 mkII stocks. Would probably want to get those bedded as well. Pretty sure m77s are a little more complex to rebarrel due to the claw extractor, which would add some cost to rebarreling.

  7. 21 Φεβ 2017 · I’d like to keep it for nostalgic reasons and am thinking of having it rebarrelled to 6.5x47 and threaded for my TBAC, but there’s not much aftermarket support for the Ruger actions that I can find. Does anyone know of a mid-priced stock with ergos similar to a Bravo that is made for these Rugers?
