13 Δεκ 2009 · In my search for a suitable DSLR, I have narrowed the options down to two SLRS (the T1i or the D5000). After reading many reviews, It seems that the D5000 has a lower noise sensor, so I am leaning towards it.
That being said, both the T1i and the D90 have pentaprism viewfinders, which is a huge advantage over the D5000, which is a pentamirror IIRC. If you're trying to decide between two brands, the best thing to do is go to a store and handle both.

11 Μαΐ 2009 · The Nikon D5000 features ISO 100-6400 range, while the Canon Rebel T1i covers a range of ISO 100-12800 for an extra stop on the high end. Both of these numbers reflect the ISO expansion features.

19 Νοε 2009 · In almost all of the sample shots a D5000 will look better at one spot but scroll to another spot and compare....the T1i looks better and picks up more detail. I like the ergonomics of the T1i when holding it but prefer the Nikons when actually manipulating controls...
