I've been reading a lot about high end resistors such as Vishay’s Bulk Metal™ Z-foil etc. Do you think in this application they would be superior to TI 1% metal film RN65 mil-spec resistors? If so, any recommendations?
8 Σεπ 2016 · For solid state gear, I usually go with the Vishay RN series - usually the RN60s (rated to 300V). These are good, quiet 1% metal film resistors, and fairly inexpensive. Mouser carries a wide range of 1/4 W and 1/2 W values. For 1 watters I usually get Vishay CCF or CPF 1% metal film.

18 Απρ 2013 · Regarding manufacturers, VISHAY has acquired most of the high quality resistor brands as Beyschlag, Draloric, Dale, Roederstein, Sprague, etc. Vishay also have their own manufacturing, and invented the metal foil technology. Other independant and good suppliers are KOA, ROHM, Yageo, Panasonic.
