Dan has completed 200 marathons and ultramarathons but describes himself as the classic tortoise who hopes to finish as the oldest and probably the slowest 7-7-7 runner ever. The 76-year-old is the father of three brilliant and beautiful daughters who have blessed him with 3 great sons-in-law and nine wonderful grandchildren.
