4 Ιαν 2022 · A mother comes in with her 1-month-old infant in a car seat with extra padding and a fleece liner in it. Explain that car seats are incredibly safe when used properly and that extra padding can put their baby at risk of injury or breathing difficulty. A child is seen after a motor vehicle collision.
20 Σεπ 2024 · Make sure your child is always buckled in a car seat, booster seat, or seat belt that is appropriate for their age and size. Buckle children in a rear-facing car seat with a harness until they reach the maximum weight or height limit of their car seat. Keep children rear-facing as long as possible.
1 Νοε 2018 · All infants and toddlers should ride in a rear-facing car safety seat (CSS) as long as possible, until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their CSS’s manufacturer. Most convertible seats have limits that will permit children to ride rear-facing for 2 years or more.
