I have a Dara duty holster for my FN 509, great holster even compared to my Odin and Safarilands. Feels solid, even after falling on it a few times during drills.
19 Οκτ 2022 · As with most OWB-style holsters, the Dara holster was extremely comfortable to carry. The gun did not push out from the body as some polymer holsters tend to do. I ordered the holster with a slight mouth flare for ease of reholstering.
18 Φεβ 2015 · In an earlier review, I declared the DARA Holsters & Gear Custom IWB one of the finest Kydex appendix carry holsters I’d ever tested. Sure, it wasn’t leather, but it was a really nice rig. So imagine my excitement when DARA sent me an OWB holster to try out as well.

We fired roughly 1000 rounds while using these holsters in all types of weather conditions. We tested the Smith and Wesson Shield IWB and OWB holster. Pros: Cons: Can you elaborate on what makes that an "Appendix" holster?
16 Φεβ 2015 · The only Kydex holster that has ever come close is the Custom IWB from DARA Holsters & Gear. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what makes this one so good, but I’ve tried at least half a dozen Kydex IWB rigs, trying to find the perfect set-up, and this is far and away the best one I’ve ever used.
This is my CZ P-07 and my OD Green Dara Holsters custom AIWB holster. It has the curved clip, the claw, and the mid-level ride height. I think they must use a thicker kydex than other shops.
