31 dex (29 since rousing will give +2) as much +true or +physical as you can afford. After those bases are covered movespeed, vigor and strenght are all good. Some resourcefulness is also good for your sanity. Songs are the 3 self buff, rousing rythmes, lament of langour and shriek of weakness.
Bard is actually insane. Discussion. He can give his team +50 armor, magic resist, +3 all stats, heal, give temp movespeed, and buff himself with bonus phys dmg and speed. A lot of these are 2 minute buffs. Even some of the ones that say 30 seconds actually last 2 mins.
Imo, rapier + buckler and survival bow is the best weapons loadout for solos. Bard is a class that can win against almost any class, but requires you to be prepared. Bard's biggest weakness is being ambushed, so keeping on your toes and keeping your buffs up is very important.
