Fishing bait is an item used with the fishing rod. It is used to fish in any fishing spot as long as the spot has the Bait Fishing Spot option. Each successful catch uses up one piece of bait, so bring an appropriate amount in your inventory if you wish to catch a lot of fish.

Resource Area - This members-only location contains Dark Crab fishing spots where a player can fish as long as they please as they can note their resources, via Piles for 50 coins per item noted. The fastest way to the location is the Edgeville Teleport Lever .
You can bring a wildy sword, fish barrel, and enough dark fishing bait for the full barrel and invy. Then you only risk the bait, and whatever crabs aren’t on the barrel when you die. Banking is a little annoying, but it’s nice to not really risk anything if you die.
It is a small QoL for ironman who wish to train fishing at Dark Crabs. Right now it's a pain in the ass to get a normal amount of dark fishing bait. Ankou's drop the bait often, but not in large quantity's.
85-99 Fishing at dark crabs with Wilderness elite diary. So i started at 85 when HCIM came out, so about 4 weeks ago, i averaged 8 hours a day at around 43k xp/hr. Costs are 3.6m gp for noting crabs, and 7m for dark bait, totalling about 10.3m cost, meaning my profit was about 108m total.
