1 Ιουλ 2009 · Although evolutionary psychology has been successful in explaining some species-typical and sex-differentiated adaptations, a large question that has largely eluded the field is this: How can the field successfully explain personality and individual differences?
Evolutionary psychology provides a novel conceptualization of both, which leads to a formulation of person-situation interactions (Buss, 2009a, 2009b). An evolutionary psychological perspective provides a novel non-arbitrary conceptualization of situations: adaptive problems define situations.
