David McWilliams (born April 18, 1942) is a former American college football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Texas Tech University in 1986 and at the University of Texas at Austin from 1987 to 1991, compiling a career college football record of 38–30.
21 Μαΐ 2015 · McWilliams played on the 1963 national championship team, one of four in the 121-year history of Texas football. He was the head coach at Texas for five years, which included a conference championship in 1990 and a Bluebonnet Bowl win in 1987 against Pittsburgh.

He served as the head football coach at Mississippi State University (1954–1955), the University of Washington (1956), and the University of Texas (1957–1976), compiling a career college football record of 184–60–5.
