It’s a vampire story mixed with a modern day sci-fi dystopia. I enjoyed the story and the acting. I don’t think it’s better than the original Blade. I honestly would not mind a prequel to Daybreakers that details the initial outbreak and the invasion of vampirism into high society and celebrities and government.

It’s like $20 so if you like it and don’t own it on blu I say grab it. It’s a fun movie with an A+ cast. Looks like the mixed reviews are mostly about the film’s story and murky cinematography, not necessarily the transfer.
