DC Chess League (DCCL) is the historic league of the nation's capitol, going strong since 1948. The League pits DC area teams in monthly competition over an 8-9 month season. The League has been the demonstrated competitive chess choice for the region's GMs, Masters, and Experts, and lately, for all other players.
The DC Chess Association promotes chess for players of all abilities through classes, tournaments, and events. A non-profit, educational 501(c)(3) organization.
Tournament Life Announcements on the USCF website are a great way to see the most current list of events in Ohio. These are submitted by the organizers themselves. We recommend you register and sign up to receive an email from USCF when a tournament in your area is submitted.

The D.C. Chess League pits D.C. metropolitan area chess teams in monthly matches over a 9-month season. The League is divided into three sections: Open, Amateur, and Reserve. Matches are scheduled for Friday evenings starting at 8pm using a G/90 +30 time control.
