Monks are the class I'm most familiar with and tend to find myself answering questions for the most often. I'm writing this guide primarily to allow myself and others a solid point of reference. It will not be perfect, and it will not cover everything, but hopefully it will help.

Highest DPS handwrap monk builds are strength based. There aren't really any special gimmicks. Int and Chr are dump stats. Grab the TWF feat line and the other standard feats for melee characters (Improved Critical, Combat Expertise, etc.). Enhancements are 41 points and t5 in Shintao. The rest can go wherever.
29 Σεπ 2024 · The Shintao Monk is a very powerful, all-around monk build that excels at both party support roles and in the offensive melee role. With no fewer then four stunning abilities at his disposal, the Shintao monk can quickly disable groups of enemies better than any other melee build.
13 Οκτ 2020 · Monks are fine. What sort of build playstyle are you looking for? If you're looking for one that is super mobile, I recommend something like a 12 monk with spring attack and minimum 5 levels of rogue to get the tier 5 rogue enhancements. However if you're just looking for abundant step, let me know more :)
