28 Αυγ 2014 · AMD64 is the codename for the 64Bit Version of Windows because AMD created the first 64Bit architecture with their AMD K8 (Athlon64/Opteron) which was still compatible to the existing 32Bit Windows. So all AMD64 files you see are 64Bit files.
