Located just past Vidette Lake in the Deadman Valley is a magnificent canyon with a waterfall. A shallow creek with a small beach area great for making a small fire and cooking lunch is located at the foot of the falls.

3 Οκτ 2019 · Deadman River plunges over lava cliffs into the Deadman River Canyon in the hills to the east of Vidette Lake. We usually drive along the road through the hills for 5 km, then we park on a side road, approaching the brink of the falls from the north.
13 Ιουν 2015 · Deadman Tour. The Deadman Valley Road goes north for about 50 km from the Trans Canada Highway and ends up at the end of Vidette Lake. Beyond Vidette Lake, the roads wind up into the high country. The lower end of the valley goes through the Skeetchestn Indian Reserve, then emerges into valley bottom farmland.
There are some short hikes that can be done in the Deadman Valley. From the TransCanada Highway west of Savona, turn onto the Deadman Valley Road. Trails/Routes: Deadman Falls and Deadman Lake; Deadman Tour; Deadman Falls (Alternate Route)
