About The DeCal Program. The DeCal Program (or just DeCal) is an aggregate of student-run courses at the University of California, Berkeley – here, students create and facilitate their own classes on a variety of subjects, many of which are not addressed in the traditional curriculum.

Login into the DeCal Website. Click on 'Dashboard' on the upper right hand corner of the website. Click on the yellow 'Submit a Course for Approval' button. Follow the steps until completion of form. After submission, you should receive a confirmation email.
DeCals are student-led courses at the University of California, Berkeley. Students identify gaps within the current UC Berkeley curriculum then propose, create and facilitate their own classes. DeCals focus on a range of topics including Human-Centered Design, The Power of Networking to Adulting.
Take a DeCal. DeCal courses are offered in Fall and Spring of each academic year. Most, though not all, courses are listed in the official DeCal website (https://decal.berkeley.edu/), and you can filter by the semester, what day of the week you prefer, the time of the class, and how recent the class has been posted.

Web Design DeCal (WDD) is a 2-unit course at UC Berkeley that will teach you how to build a beautiful website. WDD is divided into two sections: - The programming section teaches the three fundamental components of any website: HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript (jQuery).
