Most chart types have two axes: a horizontal axis (or x-axis) and a vertical axis (or y-axis). This example teaches you how to change the axis type, add axis titles and how to change the scale of the vertical axis.

The visible x and y axis range can be configured manually by setting the range axis property to a list of two values, the lower and upper bound. Here's an example of manually specifying the x and y axis range for a faceted scatter plot created with Plotly Express.
On a chart, click the horizontal (category) axis that you want to change, or do the following to select the axis from a list of chart elements: Click anywhere in the chart. This displays the Chart Tools , adding the Design , Layout , and Format tabs.
