Community chats are chats created specifically for Facebook groups. Note that they are not available to all groups (example: commerce groups ) or people at this time. You can use community chats for real-time conversations with other people in your group.
Group chats are conversations you have with more than one person on Messenger, such as friends and family. They are different from community chats, which are chats for Facebook groups.
