8 Ιουν 2024 · Entitlement is a multifaceted concept in sociology, encompassing various dimensions such as psychological, social, economic, and cultural aspects. At its core, entitlement refers to the belief that one deserves certain privileges or resources, often without regard for the actual merit or the needs of others.
The right to a certain behaviour of another person is a reflection of the duty of the other person. The words ‘right’, ‘entitlement’, ‘to entitle’, ‘to be entitled’ have a number of quite different significations.
