The Ontario Police Department takes pride in providing Law Enforcement Personnel with current, relevant, and applicable training. Courses offered to outside agencies meet the requirements of California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and are POST certified.
This training is designed to provide peace officers working in airport security assignments with the skills and knowledge necessary for the proper performance of their duties.
16 Απρ 2024 · Participating in the POST Program is voluntary and there is no cost to join. Participating agencies agree to comply with and continue to adhere to minimum selection and training standards and all Commission Regulations. More than 600 agencies participate in the POST Program.
Our law enforcement programs offer basic courses oriented toward meeting specific entry-level training needs for criminal justice and state regulatory agencies. These courses are certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

9 Ιουλ 2024 · Any airport security officer, airport policeman or airport special officer, regularly employed and paid by a city, county, or district who is a peace officer shall have completed a course of training relative to airport security approved by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training.
Law Enforcement In-Service Courses are available for the new officer and seasoned veteran alike. Our course catalog includes a variety of established training, as well as classes available for modification to meet Agency specific needs.
