Now, about the title of the manga, "Shingeki no Kyojin." I've wondered myself, what exactly does it mean? "Attack on Titan" is apparently a mistranslation. Well, it goes deep. "Shingeki," literally translated, means something like an attack; more specifically, something like a swift military strike, like a charge, advance, or I guess a blitz.
