All students entering the Dental Hygiene Program must have completed at least 60 semester credit hours of college-level coursework no later than the Summer 1 term prior to entry. Specific prerequisite coursework is listed below.
The college’s dental hygiene course takes four semesters to complete. To graduate you must complete the 68-credit coursework that includes courses in biological, behavioral and dental sciences. This well-rounded curriculum trains you with entry-level skills required of a dental hygienist to promote oral health and hygiene.
