29 Αυγ 2019 · The southern portion of South Mountain Preserve is tucked deep into the Ahwatukee Foothills. The main trailheads in this section of the park are the newly redesigned Desert Foothills Trailhead and the 19th Avenue South Trailhead. The most popular trails are Telegraph Pass and the Pyramid Trail.
This route starts from the South Mountain Preserve Telegraph Pass Entrance and takes you along Desert Classic to the Helipad and Goat trail in the South Mountain Park area. The trail offers enjoyable inclines with rocky sections, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
