This review is about the XDUOO XP-2 Pro Dac/AMP. My take ion this device and comparison to the BTR 5.I buy all my stuff with my own money. Any links I provid...
vs BTR5: The BTR5 is very neutral, without any bias towards either side, whereas the XP-2Pro, to my ears, is also neutral, with a touch of brightness to it. In terms of 3.5mm to 3.5mm, the Xduoo wipes the floor with the BTR5. But when you bring the BTR5’s 2.5mm to play, the result is more of a draw.
I've been on the hunt for some portable power, and the xDuoo XP-2 Pro looked like an appealing candidate. It's a DAC + headphone amp combo that's small enough to stick to the back of a phone....
The xDuoo XP-2 Pro is a versatile all-in-one product (DAC/AMP/Bluetooth receiver). Its current design has changed and improved for the better, with a much sleeker, newer, eye-catching logo and an image that combines different beautiful shades of grey, glazed surfaces, with red potentiometers.
For IEMs the BTR5 without doubt, for headphones the Xduoo could be better depending on the efficiency of your headphones. With IEMs and the xp2pro you won't get much range of volume control, a very small turn of the knob may make them too loud.
9 Σεπ 2020 · I'm going to keep listening but so far I think the XP-2 Pro beats my Fiio BTR3 in every way. Build quality is great. Sound is great so far and at $140 usd including priority shipping this thing is a steal!
I've narrowed to this options: Fiio BTR 5 vs Fiio Q3 vs Xduoo XP-2 Pro. Currently, I have a HD560s and a PXC550ii as headphones, that I use mostly on my desktop powered by the Creative Sound Blasterx G6.
