5 Δεκ 2017 · Go to Show Hidden Icons on the right side of the taskbar, click the up arrow and you’ll see the Windows Update Assistant icon there. Click on it and the Getting your update ready screen will re-appear.

13 Ιαν 2016 · Before proceeding with the troubleshooting, I will suggest you to right click on the desktop and select view option and select the option to view desktop icons and see if it helps. If the above steps doesn't help, I would suggest you to try these steps to rebuild icon cache and check if it helps.
