Instead of freely move and place an icon, I hold the command key while moving the icon to a place I like. When I release the icon, it will "snap" comfortably to the location.

1 Απρ 2012 · Every time I log in to one specific account on my mac the hard drive icon, usually in the top right, has moved to the top left and is partly off of the screen. Even when I drag it back to the right it has moved on the next start up. Any ideas how to fix this?
26 Ιουν 2023 · I have my disk drives (all SSDs) arranged in the upper right corner of my desktop on my M2 Mac mini running Ventura 13.4.1. If I put the Mac to sleep using the Sleep option in the Apple Menu and wait 30 seconds or so and wake it back up, the icons have been drastically moved around.
