17 Αυγ 2012 · Since then, the icons for applications that are part of Windows are the default "unknown" icon, but other icons are fine. The applications that the shortcuts link to launch fine when the icons are clicked on. Taskbar: Start Menu: I have fixed my path, but the icons still show incorrectly.

19 Μαΐ 2010 · On various days (no pattern), when I start using computer (which is always on), all the icons from my taskbar have disappeared. I found one solution to the problem which is to start task manager, end explorer.exe process, then run explorer.exe again.
