17 Αυγ 2012 · 1. Check the path for space (s) after a ; which causes everything past that point to be skipped. A path of A;B;C; D;E;F would only be seen as A;B;C. Microsoft really needs a decent editor for the path environment variable. Posting your path environment variable (s) should let others spot problems as well.

1 Οκτ 2018 · I just installed Open Shell on Windows 7 Professional x64 because it's more configurable than the default start menu, and surprise surprise, every icon that should appear within Open Shell's start menu seems to be missing.
13 Οκτ 2015 · • Open the Applications tab and click New Task at the bottom-right of the window. • In the message box that pops up type in explorer.exe and hit OK. Explorer.exe will reload, and the missing icons should now be back in the system-tray where they belong.
22 Νοε 2011 · Open Task Manager, go to Processes tab, highlight explorer.exe, and click End Process. Your desktop will "disappear." Still in Task Manger, select File > New Task (Run...), type explorer.exe, and click OK. Your desktop should reappear, with the previously missing icons.
1 Ιουν 2020 · Do you mean the frequently used programs not showing up? To solve that, go to Windows Settings -> Privacy -> General and turn on Allow Windows to track app launches to improve start and search results.
21 Φεβ 2010 · After a few days, some of the desktop icons disappear. However, when I click on the Desktop toolbar at the bottom of the Windows desktop, the icons that disappeared from the desktop were still present and available in the Desktop toolbar listing.
